From the Volcanic Series: the iconic slopes and plumes of ash of the Vesuvio in the bay of Naples have always fascinated me. Since childhood, I have always felt a huge attraction for  the beauty of the geographical setting, the colours of the Mediterranean sea and the historical role this majestic volcano played in Italian culture .
