My paintings are all inspired and linked by flows of lava or water, ice or fire, interpreting the opposition of fluid and immobile clashes of temperatures and substances. The use of smooth surfaces or textures are carefully selected to unravel the fascinating tactile world around us. These carefully chosen motifs give the viewer access to an abstract experience, where one can absorb emotions and reactions stemming from my lived experience and aquatic imagination.
