This light palette of colours was chosen to elaborate an abstract and translucent haze: I worked horizontally with free flowing varnishes on the canvas, then dropping acrylic inks and reactive fluids to obtain an atmospheric composition. The viewer’s imagination can roam and escape. Volcanoes and their natural phenomena connect with my temperament and are the source of many paintings from the “Volcanic Series”.
