Experimenting with earth pigments from Roussillon, Vaucluse, I painted with a rich variety of organic ochres produced by traditional artisans. The abstract reactions with varnish, inks and solvents emerged on the canvas. As my mind was filled with thoughts about the fragile balance of Nature, I directed the flows across the canvas.
